coreFORCE - Integrations: How to Setup Twilio Integration on coreFORCE

Using this feature will require that you have an account with Twilio 



Setting It Up:


  1. Go to Orders -> Setup


  1. Click on the Twilio Tab


  1. Fill in information. All three fields are required.



How a contact/User receives texts


In order for a contact/user to get texts, they must have two things:


  • Texts cannot be sent to contacts unless the contact has opted in for them. The custom field code "RECEIVE_SMS" with a description of "Receive Text Notifications" needs to be set to true. It is a checkbox and was created when the Twilio fields were set up in Orders -> Setup. This can be added to the My Account page.


  • They must have a valid phone number with description "cell", "mobile" or "text"


Text Message Content


Text message content comes from Contacts -> Email -> Text Messages. The code needs to be the same as the code of the email that is sent as the notification.
