coreFORCE - Classes & Events: How to Change the Date of your Event in coreFORCE
coreFORCE Advanced and Enterprise Only
This article will cover how to manage events once they have been created.
Once an event has been created, you can find it in Events & Facilities -> Events -> Events.
Changing the Date of your Event - NON-PAID EVENTS ONLY
You can change the start date under the details tab, but please note that if you'd like the change to update on the public facing Event Calendar, you'll need to change the facility reservation.
To do this:
Go to the Reservations Tab and click the Trash icon to the right of the reservation you'd like to adjust. Be careful as deleting this reservation is instant and does not provide you a warning.
Go to the Reserve Facilities tab to make a new reservation for this event. In this example, we'll simply choose the next day.
Click "SAVE" in the top left corner and go back to the Reservations tab to see your new reservation
You can also now see this change on the public facing Event Calendar
Change the date of your paid events
ALL paid events have an attached Event Registration Product. If your event is linked to a product, you will first need to:
Delete the product
Delete the event
Create the new event
If your event already has registrants, you will need to use the Move Registrants button.
Note that you shouldn't need to check whether the event has registrants as the system will produce an error if you attempt to delete an event that has registrants.
Move Registrants
To move Registrants you'll need to go to Events & Facilities -> Events -> Move Registrants.
The information regarding how this is handled is explained on the page but please note the bold red text that mentions moving registrants is PERMANENT and CANNOT be reversed.
To search the event, you can search by the event code or the name of the event. A dropdown will appear where you can select the appropriate event.
DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU CHOSE THE CORRECT DATE. Again, this is important as this is permanent.
Once you've made your selections, click "MOVE REGISTRANTS"
If you would like to customize the email that is sent to your customers, you can go to Orders -> Settings and then find the tab labeled "Emails" and search for the Move Registrants Email:
