How to set up Cash Drawer to pop for Cash payment only
it isThe only types of cash drawers that are possible to support (that open automatically) are the ones that connect to a receipt printer such as APG Vasario 1416 Cash Drawer. Make sure that the cash drawer is connected to your Receipt Printer and that the Receipt printer driver is installed on the computer and the QZ tray.
From the control panel --> Devices and printers
Right-click the Star printer and select Printer Properties
Click the Device Settings tab.
For Peripheral Unit Type; change to Cash Drawer.
Make sure "pulse width" is 200ms and "Peripheral Unit 1" is " Document Top" > Click Apply > OK
Once it is set make sure to go to the Configuration Utility

In your coreSTORE Register set up make sure that the Receipt Printer is selected as an option, to perform this, go to Company > Locations > Edit on the location > Go to Registers & Terminals > Choose the register > Select the printer > Save
And you are done, make sure to run a test.
