coreSTORE - Sales: Mastering Split Payments

In this tutorial we'll show you how to pay for a sale using two different payment types. We will use a Gift Card and Cash in this example, but the process is the same for whatever payment types you're trying to use.

1. Click on Continue…

After adding the item/s to the sale screen, click the Continue button.

2. Choose your payment type

Click on the first payment type that you want to use towards this sale. If using a gift card, type in the ID number associated with that gift card.

3. Click on Add Payment

This will put that partial amount towards the sale.

4. Click on your additional payment type

This will be how you're paying for the remaining balance.

5. Enter the amount

You can type in the amount of this payment type or if using cash you can choose the appropriate denominations.

6. Click on Complete Sale

That's it!

You have now completed the sale using multiple payment types.
