coreSTORE - Sales: Manually Creating a Gift Card (instead of selling one)
Click on Sales
Click on Gift Cards
Click on New Giftcard
Add a unique ID number
If you're using physical gift cards you can scan the barcode on the back to pre-populate the ID number already associated with that gift card.
You can also just type in your own unique ID.
Add a Description
This is optional.
Add a Value
Add a Customer
This is optional, but linking the gift card to your customer profile offers peace of mind. In case of a lost card, the store can easily retrieve the information and balance for you.
Click on Save
You can now see that gift card record inside of the Gift Cards module
NOTE: Creating a gift card manually won't be able to provide a sales receipt to your customer
