coreSTORE - Sales - How to use Card on File in coreSTORE

In this article we will show you how to use Card on File, charge the customer's card first; the Charge Card on File option will then be available for subsequent purchases.

1. Create a sale by adding the customer and ringing up the item, and then Hit Continue

2. Click on Credit Card

3. Click on Add Payment

4. Check Store Card On File? check box

5. Click on Process Credit Card

6. The Credit Card will be added to the sales

7. Click on Complete Sale

8. Click on OK

9. This customer should have the credit card on file added to their customer record

10. The next time you added the same customer on the sale screen it should show the card on file

11. Click the checkbox on Charge Card On File to charge the same customer's card they used previously

12. Click on Continue

13. Click on Credit Card

14. Click on Add Payment

15. Click on Process Credit Card

16. Click on OK

17. Click on Complete Sale

18. Click on OK

19. Should be done and charged the card
