coreSTORE- Range Management: Assign and Manage Range Lanes

coresTORE has powerful lane/facility management, built right into the sales screen. This empowers staff to verify waivers and memberships, and add customers to lane assignments in seconds. You can also quickly swap lane assignments, add additional items to customer tabs, and track multiple shooters on a single lane (see Party Feature Article). You can also store credit cards on file, allowing customer to rack up larger "bar tabs" of ammo and rentals. Then, when they checkout, you can add a membership or training class to the same sale, and automatically apply member discounts! ( See "Store Card on file" and "selling classes/ memberships" in coresTORE article.

Another Range feature that has an outsized impact on customer experience, and increases lane turnover, is our waiver integration. Even if a guest has never visited, as soon as they complete a waiver, they become customers in coreSTORE, so you can quickly find them with phone number, name or email. No more typing in new guests info, or manually reviewing their waiver! (See Waiver Integration Article).

## # From the Sales screen, look up a customer.

Select a lane from the GRID

From the sales screen, select the category grid. This will show the rental lanes. (see "setting up rental lanes").

clicking an open lane will add the lane item to the sale.

Note- You can adjust item or category settings for lanes and rentals to make them age restricted, require a customer, and have valid waiver on file. This is a great safe guard.

In category settings, you can adjust the color when rented.

## # coreSTORE

To assign the customer to the lane, simply suspend the sale. (You'll want to create a "Range" suspended sale type).

Step 5 screenshot

Click on OK

Click on « Back To Categories…

View Lane Assignment

Now you will the the customer on the lane you suspended. It will also show they time they went onto the lane.
Note-coreSTORE has the ability to charge rentals by time.

How To Control The Lanes (Swap, end, edit lane).

there are 3 clickable elements to each lane tile: SWAP, END, and the tile itself.

Tile click brings up the suspended sale, and keeps the lane reserved. Re-suspend the sale after adding items to continue lane assignment.

SWAP allows you to move customer to another lane.

END immediately frees up the lane to be reserved for another customer, even is sale is not complete

Step 9 screenshot

Swapping

To Swap customer to another lane, click the "Swap" button on their lane tile. This brings up a swap selection. The lane on the "From" side will be preselected. You do not ned to select the other items, as they will move automatically. Pick the lane you want to move them to on the right side.

Step 10 screenshot

Click on Submit

This will move the sale to the new lane, and free up the one they were on.

Step 11 screenshot

End Button- Free Up Lane Without Completing Sale

When a customer comes off a lane to close out their tab, there might be another customer ready to use their lane right away. Clicking the "END" button, makes their lane immediately available, but does not complete the sale.
This allows another shooter to take their lane, without having to rush checking out the previous customer.

Best practice is to use the "End" button when a shooter is done shooting, and click on the tile when adding items to an ongoing lane reservation.

Step 12 screenshot

After clicking "End" A warning comes up explaining the function. Click yes.
Step 13 screenshot

Completing Sale

Clicking "End" brings up the suspended sale, and you can take your time checking out the customer.

Step 14 screenshot

Click on Complete Sale

You now have completed the lane transation.
