coreSTORE - Inventory: "Do NOT Allow Items to be Sold Below Cost Price?"

In this article you we will show you how to keep your store from selling items below cost and how to exempt products on an individual level,


Below Cost Store Setting

  1. Click on Company > Settings

  1. Click on the Sales section of settings

  1. Check the checkbox labeled “Do NOT allow items to be sold below cost

  1. Click Save

  1. Click on Inventory > Items

  1. Edit the item that you wish to exempt from the below cost rule

  1. Click on the Pricing tab

  1. Check the checkbox labeled Allow Item To Be Sold Below Cost

  1. Click Save

The “Allow Item To Be Sold Below Cost” checkbox will not show if the setting “Do NOT allow items to be sold below cost” is not checked. If you do not see the checkbox in the Item details > Pricing page, check the settings in the first 4 steps.
