coreSTORE - Inventory: Creating Item Kits for Firearms

An item kit is a group of individual items bundled and sold as a single unit. It's essentially a pre-configured package that combines related products for convenience or promotional purposes.

Overall, item kits offer a way to organize products, simplify inventory management, and potentially increase sales through convenience and bundled discounts.



On the left-hand side, select Inventory > Item Kits.

Select "New Item Kit" at the top-right

On this screen, fill out the "Item Kit Name" & "Category" fields as well as all other fields you want populated.

Next, select the "Items" tab.

In here, add in all Inventory Items that are going to be entered into this Item Kit. This will allow the system to add each item to the Sales Screen from it's specified Kit.

Next, select the "Pricing" tab.

In here, we can either manually give it a "Cost" and "Selling Price", or we can use the "Calculate Suggested Price" buttons to have the system determine it for us based on what the Inventory Items Cost & Selling Price are.

Once completed, click the "Done" button at the top-right.

Now, to see how it looks we can pull the Item Kit into the Sales Screen.

The result should bring in all the Items you added to that Item Kit.
