Conducting an inventory count and updating incorrect quantities in your store is essential for several reasons:

Click on Inventory > Items
Click on ... in the Top Right Hand Corner
Click on Count inventory
Choose to Start a New Inventory Count, or Continue a Previous One
Beginning the Inventory Count
Now that you've started an inventory count, or resumed from a previous session, you can explore all the options and capabilities of the inventory count screen. At the top of the screen, you'll find several useful features for managing your data, printing custom barcode labels, and identifying any items that have not yet been counted.
Begin Scanning
While this screen does allow you to search, the most efficient way to conduct an inventory count is by using a barcode scanner.
Scan in Your Item/Items, and Manually Confirm the Count.
Finishing the Count
When you're done or ready to take a break from your inventory count, please select one of the options below based on your desired action for this specific inventory count.
Close/Finish count and update inventory: This will update any inventory quantities that were adjusted during the counting process.
Close/Finish count and do NOT update inventory: This will close out the count without updating any inventory quantities in the system.
Continue count later: This will save the count for later and return you to the previous screen.
