coreSTORE - Integrations: How to Setup Twilio
To set up SMS capabilities, you will first need to sign-up for an account with Twilio.
Once you have an account with them make sure to go to your Company > Locations > Edit > Integrations > Twilio screen to fill out the three required fields:
Once you have your account settings filled in, you will see an option to SMS Receipt in the Sales module.
Under Company Settings > Receipt you will see additional options for SMS Receipts:
You can also send an SMS message to one or more customers at once directly from the Customer module:
NOTE: This is a permission setting under Employees:
You can now notify technicians via SMS when they are assigned to a work order. You can also notify your customer when there is a status change to the work order.
In Company Settings > Work Orders under the Work Orders section you can specify whether to notify a technician via email or via SMS:
Once you set-up notifications, any time a technician is assigned to a Work Order, the technician will be notified.
Customers can be notified when the status of a work order has been changed. For each work order status, you can choose whether you want the customer to be notified and how they are notified:
