coreSTORE - How does the Terms and Conditions feature work in coreSTORE and the coreCLEAR terminal
In coreSTORE, when the "Enable Terms & Conditions" setting is activated, your customized Terms and Conditions will be displayed on the coreCLEAR payment device during checkout. Before completing the transaction, customers are prompted to review and accept the Terms directly on the terminal screen. Once accepted, the system will prompt the receipt.
- Click on New Sale
- Ring up the item that is associated to the category selected for terms
- Click on Continue to take payment
- Click on Credit Card as a payment type
- Click on Add Payment
- Click on Process Credit Card and Hit OK
- Insert, Tap, or Swipe the Credit Card
- Go back to the coreSTORE Sale Screen and Hit Continue
- Click on Complete Sale
- Click on OK
- The "Please accept the terms and conditions on the credit card machine" will show up on the sales screen
- While on the terminal, it will show your "Terms and Conditions" content
- Click the Up and Down Arrow to see the Full Terms & Conditions and hit "Accept" when it's ready
Upon acceptance, the terminal will proceed with signature verification (if enabled). Once signed, the system redirects to the receipt page; otherwise, it returns to the Sales Module.
