coreSTORE - Hardware - Setting up your Tera HW0002 barcode scanner

In this article we will go through how to configure your new Tera HW0002 barcode scanner.

Connection

This scanner supports Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz wireless, and wired connections. All cables / dongle should be included with the scanner. The USB cable will also double as a charging cable for the device.

Configuration

If you choose to use the 2.4Ghz wireless or wired connection options, simply plug in the provided dongle or cable and then scan the appropriate QR code located in the manual.

If your scanner did not come with a manual or if you cannot locate the manual, click here for a PDF version of the manual.

Once the scanner is connected, most barcodes and QR codes should scan out of the box. To be able to scan drivers license's you would need to scan the PDF 417 barcode located in your manual.
