coreSTORE - Getting Started: Setting up Tips

This guide provides detailed instructions on how to enable and configure tips within coreSTORE. Let's get started with enabling those tips on your credit card terminals! Head over to the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Look for "Company," and then click on "Settings" to dive into those customization options.

Click on Tips

This will take you to the right settings to enable and customize tipping options for your credit card terminals.

Check Enable Tips?

"Enable Tips" will activate the tipping functionality on your credit card terminal, assuming it's supported by your device.

Automatically Display Tip Dialog

"Automatically Display Tip Dialog," when enabled, this will prompt your customers to enter a tip amount directly on the credit card terminal screen during their transaction. This makes it easy for them to show their appreciation!

Suggested Tip %

Let's customize the tipping experience for your customers! Under "Tips" settings, you'll find the "Suggested Tip %" option. This allows you to pre-set suggested tip percentages that will appear on the tip dialog screen on your terminal. This helps guide customers with common tipping options, but they can always adjust the amount to their preference.

CoreCLEAR Terms And Conditions Alias

Tailor your terms with coreCLEAR Terms and Conditions Alias (optional):

Using coreCLEAR services and terminals? This setting lets you establish your own custom terms and conditions alias. This alias will appear during the credit card transaction process, ensuring your customers clearly understand your policies before leaving a tip.

Note: If you don't set a custom alias, coreCLEAR's standard terms and conditions will apply.

Click on Save

Finalize your tip settings by clicking save.
