coreSTORE - Getting Started: Managing Payment Types
This guide provides comprehensive instructions on how to manage payment types in coreSTORE. By following these steps, you will be able to add, edit, and organize various payment methods within the system. This ensures a smooth and efficient sales process, accommodating different customer preferences for payment. By the end of this guide, you will have a clear understanding of managing payment types to enhance your sales operations.
Click on Company
Using the left-hand navigation, let's first navigate to the company selection.
Click on Settings
Under the company selection, navigate to the settings menu.
Click on Payment Types
In your system settings, locate the payment types section.
At the top of the page, you will see your payment type options listed.
Here, you can add and remove payment types. The default system payment options are indicated by push buttons, while the custom buttons, established by the user, are denoted by grey buttons.
Click on the field below the established system payments to create your own payment options.
Here, you can establish custom payment types that are not defaulted in the system. For example, you could add an option for outside financing.
Create your "New payment type"
Simply type your new method and click the "Add New Payment" button when it appears.
Hiding a payment method.
To hide a payment method, click on the desired payment type.
The hidden payment type will be indicated as inactive.
In the screenshot below, you will notice that the hidden payment type is indicated with a red button and a strikethrough. These options will not appear as available payment types in the system.
Success!
You have now successfully added an additional payment option and removed an unwanted payment type.
