coreSTORE - Getting Started: Location Configuration

This guide will walk you through the process of configuring your location details within coreSTORE. This is essential for setting up accurate information like your physical address and contact details. Additionally, we'll cover how to enable features like automated report emailing, employee assignment for this location, and time clock IP address restrictions.


Navigate to Company > Locations

Click on Edit on the desired location

Click on Name:

Enter the Location Name, this can differ from the company name. Example J's Gun Shop could be the company name but this location is J's Gun Shop West.

Click on color

Color is important if you have more than one location, this will change the header logo background color to be the picked color. Allow you to easily identify visual what location you are logged in to.

Click on Company Name

Establish the Company Name

Website

The website field allows you to establish your website address that will appear on your receipts.

Establish your contact information

Highlighted below is your businesses contact information. Here you will want to setup your address and contact information such as phone number and fax.

Email Settings

In your email settings you can establish the email that will show on customer facing receipts. But also establish which email accounts to carbon or blind carbon copy your correspondence such as receipts from the software.

Time Clock IP Restrictions

Time Clock IP Restrictions are used to establish a static ip address where your employees must clock in from to use the software.

Also Restrict Sales To IP Addresses

Also restrict sales to IP Addresses functions the same, it will only allow you to complete sales transactions from the established ip address.

Only Restrict Time Clock Employees

Only restrict time clock employees function enables the ability for salary employees to use the software outside of the businesses IP Address.

Auto E-Mail Reports Address

The auto email reports address is used to define the recipient of desired reports run in coreSTORE.

Establish the time you would like the reports to auto email

Day to Email Report

Establish what days reports you would like to auto email. Most common is the previous day so you have the full data set from that business day.

Receive Stock Alerts

Enable Receive Stock Alerts if you want to receive notifications of items that have hit your reorder requirements.

Establishing a time zone is required.
