coreSTORE - Getting Started: Configuring Separate Currencies and Exchange Rates
You can setup your home currency as well as multiple additional currencies. Exchange rates in coreSTORE facilitate transactions involving different currencies by converting prices and processing payments accurately based on the set up rates. Follow this guide to learn how to set up separate currencies inside of coreSTORE!
Click on Company
Click on Settings
Click on Currency
Exchange Rates
This is where you can find the additional currencies you have set up inside coreSTORE and configure them.
Click on Add Currency Exchange Rate
If you want to incorporate a currency exchange rate inside of coreSTORE, click on Add Currency Exchange Rate.
Payment Currency
This is where you put the name of the currency.
Click on Currency Symbol:…
Add the currency symbol in this field.
Currency Symbol Location
This field is used to designate if the currency symbol is shown in front of or behind the number.
Number of Decimals
You can designate the number of decimals associated with this currency. We recommend letting coreSTORE determine that on it's own, but you can also choose to determine that yourself.
Thousands Separator
You can separate the numbers per thousand using a Separator. Usually this is a comma, but it may differ depending on what currency you are inputting.
Decimal Point
You can change the decimal point symbol in this field.
Exchange Rate
The exchange rate is the rate at which one currency can be exchanged for another currency. It represents the value of one currency relative to another currency.
