coreSTORE - Fulfillment: How to email customers their Tracking Number

When you're doing Fulfillment orders inside of coreSTORE and generating labels using EasyPost, you can include the tracking number in the Email Content that gets sent to the customer when changing statuses. Follow this article to learn how to set this up!


Setting up your status


  1. Click on Fulfillment

  1. Click on Statuses

  1. Edit the status you want to use when sending this email.

  1. Click on Edit

  1. Check Notify Customer Via Email:

  1. Insert Email Content


Inside of the Email Content field, you will need to include {sales\_shipments.tracking\_url}.
You can of course add what else you'd like to include in the email you're sending to the customer.

  1. Click on Save

How to use this status to send that email


  1. Click on Dashboard


Go to the Fulfillment Dashboard.

  1. Select the order

  1. Select the appropriate Status

  1. Click on OK

  1. Now that status has automatically sent that email to the customer. Congrats!
