coreSTORE - Fulfillment: Fulfilling Internet Orders via Suspended Sales
In this guide, we will walk you through the process of fulfilling your internet order and marking it as complete using the Suspended Sales option. Keep in mind that you can also use the Fulfillment Module, which we will cover in a separate guide.
1. Click on Suspended Sales
First, navigate to the Sales menu and select the Suspended Sales option. Please note that you can also access this option from the New Sales screen by clicking the Suspended Sales button in the top left corner.
2. Filtering Options
Here, you have a few options for locating the order. You can simply select the type of internet order to view all orders, or you can use the Channel Name filter if you have multiple sales channels to view orders for a specific channel.
3. Click on Unsuspend
Find the order you wish to fulfill and click the Unsuspend button. This will pull the order into the Sales screen, allowing you to finalize the transaction.
4. Click on Fulfillment
If you wish to update the invoice with shipping details, select the Fulfillment button located under the customer profile.
5. Select your shipping method
Next, select the shipping method and enter the desired information, such as the tracking number and any additional comments.
6. Address Information
Under the Address Information section, you can specify a Ship To address. By default, this should populate with the customer’s shipping information. However, you can search for another client or manually update the address on this screen if needed.
7. Fees Information
Under the Fees tab, you can apply any additional fees for the customer’s delivery. Keep in mind that these fees will be added to the order, which may already include shipping charges. If you increase the fee, you'll need to collect the additional amount.
8. Click on Save Delivery
Click Save Delivery to finalize the delivery information, if necessary.
9. Click on Continue
Once the delivery details are verified, click Continue on your point of sale screen.
10. Payment Information
Next, verify that the online payment information is correct. You should see a line with a red X indicating the payment method and amount.
11. Click on Complete Sale
If the shipping information and payment details are correct, click Complete Sale to finalize and close the internet order!
