Turning your customer's unused firearm into cash! This guide will walk you through the process of smoothly purchasing a firearm from a customer at your business.
Click on Sales
Ready to buy? Great! First things first, navigate to the "Sales" section on the left-hand side of your screen.
Click on New Sale
Time to buy! Click on the "New Sale" button to jump into the sales module.
Customer Search
New customer joining the club? No sweat! Create a new client profile with a simple click on the person icon. In a hurry? Just scan their driver's license using our handy scan option - we'll handle the rest! Pick the method that works best for you.
Click on Buy
Turn your customer's unused gear into profit! The "Buy" option lets you conveniently purchase firearms directly from your customers. It's a great way to expand your inventory and offer your customers a chance to turn their unused items into cash.
Search for Item
Use the search bar to find an existing item in our system. If it's a new arrival, don't sweat it! Just click the green "New Item" icon (see screenshot) and we'll help you add it to the system in a flash.
Item Details
Take a look at the screenshot (below) to see the details of the firearm you're buying. Focus on the red highlighted information - it's crucial for accurate record-keeping and compliance. Remember to mark the "Serialized" box if it applies, and choose the appropriate type if this firearm needs bound book tracking.
Click on Save
Once you're happy with the details, click 'Save' to add this firearm to your purchase. This lets you move on and complete the customer's transaction.
Purchase Information
Take a look at the screen (below) to see the firearm details and confirm it's the one you're purchasing from the customer. The system will automatically record this acquisition in our bound book for today's date. Once you're happy with everything, click "Continue" to choose payment options and finalize the sale!
Payment Menu
Ready to seal the deal? Click "Continue" to explore your payment options. You can choose how you'd like to pay the customer, and even split the payment between different methods if that works best!
Click on Complete Sale
Once you've chosen your payment method, simply click "Complete Sale" to finalize the purchase with your customer.
Receipt
All wrapped up! After finalizing the sale, a purchase receipt will be displayed for printing or reviewing. This is your record of the transaction.
