coreSTORE - FFL: Location Specific Bound Book Settings

If you have multiple locations you need to configure the bound book settings for each location. This guide will show you how to setup location specific bound book settings.


Access Locations Menu

From the left hand menu select "Company" and then select "Locations" in the expanded menu.

Open Location

Select "Edit" next to the location in which you wish to configure.

Access BoundBook Settings

Select the "BoundBook" tab from the options at the top of the page.

Days Open For Business

Select the days that this location is open for business. This is important as this directly affects the calculation for proper 3310 form processing.

FFL Information

Enter the FFL number and expiration date for this location. You can also upload a copy of the license.

"Delete License" will remove or prevent attaching that document.

Background Check

Select the background check database you are using.

Selecting the field opens a drop down menu to select NICS or state specific databases as required.

4473 ID Prefix

This field allows you to add an alpha numerical prefix to the 4473 IDs for this location.

Waiting Period (In Hours)

Specify how long after purchase the buyer must wait before taking possession of the firearm, according to your state's regulations (NOTE: This time is in HOURS, not DAYS (3 day waiting period - 3 days x 24 hours = 72 hours).

Waiting Periods

This feature can be used to create a waiting period for a specific type of firearm sale. Selecting "Add Waiting Period" opens fields to select a firearm type and set a time for the waiting period.

Override Waiting Period

Enable this feature to require a password for authorized personnel to complete a sale before the waiting period ends.

Require FFL

This setting will require an FFL to be listed to complete a firearm sale.

Always Use DL For Disposition

Enable this setting to capture customer driver's license information for complete disposition records. If this option is not selected the system will use a customer's CCL if they have one.

Add CLEO Information

Enter the contact information for the Chief Law Enforcement Official (CLEO) where the 3310 needs to be sent to satisfy notification requirements.

The ATF contact information is pre-programmed into the system.

When emailed, the 3310 will automatically email tot he CLEO and ATF.

Agency Alternate Email

This field allows you to designate additional email addresses to receive copies of submitted 3310 forms if needed.

RECOMMENDATION: Enter your own company email to receive the notifications as proof that you submitted the 3310.
