coreSTORE - FFL: How to complete a Firearm Transfer
This knowledge base article is to include the steps to facilitate a firearms transfer as a Firearms Dealer!
Click on Firearms Transfer under the FFL menu.
Click on the + New Transfer button to start a new transfer.
The pop-up will automatically select FFL, assuming you are doing a transfer from another FFL. Adjust the transfer fee as needed.
Add the supplier, in the case of an FFL transfer, by typing in the input box. If you are entering a new supplier then click on the green button on the left of the text box.
Add the customer who will be receiving the firearm, if they are a new customer then click the green new customer button to the left of the input box.
Search for the firearm in this box to automatically fill in the fields below.
If you searched for a firearm in the last step all the fields here should automatically be filled with the exception of the Serial Number field. The Serial Number field is required to add a firearm to the transfer.
Once all the required fields have been filled in click the "Add Firearm" button. If added successfully it will show up below in the "Firearms In This Transfer" table. Repeat Steps 6-8 as many times as needed for the transfer.
This will show all firearms successfully added to this transfer.
Once all firearms have been added to the transfer click the Process button to automatically create a Transfer suspended sale. This will also create a Firearm transfer in the Firearm Transfer Dashboard.
