CoreSTORE - FFL: How do customers fill out the 4473
How the customer accesses and completes Section B of ATF From 4473.
Log in to Kiosk
The customer will log into the kiosk by either scanning the QR code on their receipt or by manually entering the 4473 ID followed by their last name (no spaces).
For dealers that do not have a separate 4473 kiosk computer this log in screen can be accessed by selected Bound Book > Fill Out 4473 from the left hand column menu.
NOTE: There is an Bound Book Kiosk setting that, when enabled, will default to manual entry and have separate lines for last name and 4473 ID.
After entering their code the customer selects "Continue" to enter the data entry screens which are broken down into nine smaller, more manageable pages. After the customer completes each page they select "Next" in the lower right hand corner to advance to the next section. If the customer skips a required field, the system will block their passage to the next section.
The questions, information and instructions are exactly the same as on the current version of the ATF Form 4473.
Anywhere you see a green circle with an "i" in the center, the customer may click on that icon to access the specific instruction for that question.
