coreSTORE - FFL: Bound Book Report


  • The purpose of this document is to show how to print and/or download your A&D Records or Bound Book.

  • Doing so is a common request during ATF inspections.

  • It will also help you report the number of acquisitions and dispositions you have accumulated.


1. Access Reports


  • From the left had menu select Reports.

  • This will open a new page that lists all of the available reporting options in the system.

2. Bound Book


  • Select the "Bound Book" options from the list of reporting topics.

  • This will open a smaller menu of reports specific to the FFL module.

3. Bound Book Report


  • Select the 'Bound Book Report" option from the list.

  • This will open a new page of filter options to select from to customize the report.

4. Filters: Bound Book


  • This field is used to select the "books" you want included in the report.

  • The options are:


  • All (Current Location) - Preferred selection during an inspection


  • All (All Locations)


  • Any individual books that you have set up in your Bound Book dashboard.

5. Filters: Date Ranges


  • You will need to set the date ranges you want the report to include.

  • There are several options to select from including an options to set a custom date range.

  • For inspection purposes the Custom Date Range option is the best for setting for the previous 12 months.

6. Filters Continued


  • There are a variety of filters you can use to customize the results of the report depending on your purpose for running the report.

  • During an ATF inspection, the most common filters that have been sked for are:


  • In Stock Only


  • Disposed Only


  • Print Acquisition Notes


  • Print Disposition Notes


  • Include Corrections

7. Filters: Export Options


  • You have the option to export the Bound Book report into a printable or downloadable format.

  • The options include Excel, CSV and PDF format.

  • Select the option you want to use.

  • If no export option is selected the finished report will display and be viewable from this same page.

8. Submit Reports



Once all the desired filters have been selected select the Submit button int he lower left corner of the page.

9. Final Report


  • Reports exported to Excel, CSV or PDF documents will be downloaded on your computer.

  • Otherwise the report will display as below:


  • The two green boxes at the top will give you the total number of acquisitions and dispositions for the date range the report was run. This is commonly requested data requested during an inspection.


  • The report displays in the format required for Bound Books. These are the fields that will also be present on any of the exported forms of the Bound Book.


  • Additional fields may be present depending on the filters you selected for the report.

10. Return to Filters


  • You can return to the filters page by clicking on the arrow button in the upper right hand cornet of the page.

11. Select New Filters


  • You can now change your filters to add or take away data and re-submit the report.

12. Bound Book Dashboard


  • You can also access the Bound Book report from the Bound Book Dashboard.

  • You do so through the book tiles at the top of the page.

13. Select Report



Selecting the green report icon within the book tile will open up a Bound Book report that is defaulted to show a report of open acquisitions in the book.

14. Go to Filters


  • Go to the filters page by clicking on the arrow button in the upper right hand cornet of the page.

15. Select Filters


  • Add or take away filters to customize the report and submit.
