coreSTORE – Employees – Facial Recognition

Enable and Use Facial Recognition in coreSTORE


coreSTORE supports facial recognition as an alternative login method for employees. This feature uses a connected camera and employee profile images to verify identity during sign-in.



Prerequisites


Before enabling facial recognition, ensure the following requirements are met:


  1. A camera is connected to the computer used to log in to coreSTORE.
  2. Each employee who will use facial recognition has a profile image that clearly shows their face.



Enable Facial Recognition


  1. Go to Company > Settings.

  1. Select Enable Facial Recognition, and then click Save.

Verify Employee Photos


  1. Go to Company > Employees.
  2. Open the employee record.
  3. Confirm the employee has a profile image uploaded and that their face is clearly visible.

Verify the Login Page


When facial recognition is configured correctly, the login page displays a live camera preview next to the Username and Password fields.

To sign in, ensure your face is visible in the camera preview, and then select Log in.

Troubleshooting and FAQ


If facial recognition does not work as expected, review the following:


  1. Confirm Enable Facial Recognition is selected in Company > Settings > Employee.
  2. Verify the employee has a profile image uploaded with their face clearly visible.
  3. Ensure the camera is properly connected and the lens is clean.
  4. Confirm the web browser is allowed to access the camera:
  • Check the browser’s site permissions for the coreSTORE login page.
  • Allow camera access if it is blocked.
