coreSTORE - Customers: Setting up Salespeople
Setting up salespeople in coreSTORE is a straightforward process that helps manage customer interactions and track sales performance. Once set up, salespeople can be assigned to specific transactions, allowing for better accountability and performance tracking.
A sales person is not the same concept as logged-in employee. To enable the ability to choose the salesperson for a transaction, search for "Select Sales Person During Sale" in Company Settings and Enable it.
During the sale the person entering the transaction will be allowed to choose the sales person associated with the transaction, by clicking on Sales person and selecting a Name from the dropdown list. The sale will be recorded as if the sale were completed by a different user.
**_Security_**
For security reasons, the system always logs who is logged in at the time of sale. Reports will display both who is logged in and the sales person that was used for the sale.
