coreSTORE - Channels: Refunding a WooCommerce Order

In this guide, we will cover the process of refunding a WooCommerce order. Currently, this is a multi-step process. You will need to refund the order in WooCommerce and update the order status to match in coreSTORE.


WordPress Dashboard

Find your WooCommerce Integration in the left-hand menu.

Orders

Locate the Orders sub-menu under your WooCommerce Integration menu.

Orders

Select the order you wish to refund in the Orders screen.

Order Details

In the order details section, under Items, you will see the option for refunding the items.

Click on Refund

Refund Options

After executing the refund, you will see the amount and methods appear. Please select the appropriate option. In some cases, you may need to manually refund the card at the gateway level.

Fulfillment Dashboard

In coreSTORE, navigate to the Fulfillment menu and select the Dashboard sub-menu.

Locate Order

Locate the order you wish to update to show it as refunded and to alleviate the committed quantity of inventory. Please note that under Fulfillment and Statuses, you should ensure that you have established a refund status that will cancel the order line items.

Select Refunded Order

Select the appropriate status to change to. In this example, it is Refunded Order.

Click on OK

A dialog box will appear asking if you’re sure you want to update the status. If this is the desired outcome, click OK to continue.
