coreSTORE - Channels: Mapping WooCommerce Categories

In this guide, we will cover how to map your coreSTORE categories to your WooCommerce categories. This is important to ensure that your products flow to the correct spot on your website. Mapping categories gives you the flexibility to maintain different taxonomy between coreSTORE and your website.

1. Click on Categories

To begin mapping your channel categories, navigate to the Inventory menu and select the Categories sub-menu option.

2. Click on Map Channel Categories

Locate the Map Channel Categories button in the top right-hand corner of your Categories Dashboard.

3. Select Select Channel

Using the Select Channel drop-down, find and select your WooCommerce connection.

4. Mapping Dashboard

On your Category Mapping Dashboard, you will see several options:

• In the top right, you'll notice two buttons: Match By Name From and Match By Name To. When used, these will attempt to find and match the corresponding WooCommerce category with the exact name of the coreSTORE category.
  
• Do Not Transmit checkbox: Prevents any items in the corresponding category from being transmitted.
  
• In the Mapping From and Mapping To fields, you can manually assign your preferred categories.

5. Click on Save

Click on save to establish your category mapping.
