coreSTORE - Assemblies: Managing Build Statuses
In this guide, we will cover how to create new status options for your assembly builds.
Click on Assemblies
To access the assembly statuses, navigate to the Inventory menu and then select the Assemblies sub-menu.
3 Dot Action Menu
Locate the 3-dot menu in the top right-hand corner of your assembly screen.
Click on Manage Build Statuses
Next, select the Manage Build Statuses option from the menu.
Existing Options
Now, you can see your existing assembly statuses. If you wish to modify one, simply click Edit.
Click on [Add Status]
To add a new option for your assembly workflow simply click the Add Status Link
Add Status
When the Add Status prompt appears, enter a name and description for the status. Typically, the name and description are the same, or the description can be left blank.
Status Selection
Next, select how this status will be used when assigned. Determine whether the assembly should be marked as In Progress, Completed, or Cancelled in the system when this status is applied.
Color and Sort Order
Assigning a color and sort order will make it easier to identify this status on the Assembly Builds Dashboard.
Click on Save
Click Save to finalize and save your newly created assembly status.
