coreSTORE - Assemblies: Creating Assemblies in coreSTORE
In this guide, we will cover how to take components from your coreSTORE system to create a final assembled product. In this example, we’ll use an upper and lower receiver to create a finalized rifle. Please note that to build your assembly item, all components must already exist in the coreSTORE system.
Click on Assemblies
Navigate to the Inventory menu, then select the Assemblies sub-menu to open the Assembly Dashboard.
Click on New Assembly
In the top right-hand corner of your dashboard, click the New Assembly button to create your assembly record.
Select Assembly Item
In the Select Assembly Item field, search for the completed assembly item that the combined components will create.
Item Information
Here, you'll see the details for the completed item, including the name, description, taxonomy, and UPC code of the finalized product.
Add Item
In the Add Item search field, search for the components needed to create the finalized product. Adding these items will save them as a "recipe list."
Components
Once you have entered your component items, they will appear in the corresponding fields. Please note that the cost and selling price for the individual items will not be visible until you save and re-enter the assembly to build the product.

Click on Build
Locate the Build button in the top right-hand corner of your edit screen.
Build Assembly Dialog Box
Enter the quantity of the final product you would like to create. This will reference your component list, remove those items from individual stock, and allocate them to the final build.
New Serial Number
