coreILLA - Opportunities: Step-by-Step Guide Creating Opportunities for Seamless Sales Management

Opportunities are crucial for tracking potential sales within your pipeline. They represent individual deals or leads that you’re working to convert into customers. By creating opportunities in your system, you ensure each lead is accounted for and can be moved through your sales process.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you efficiently create and manage opportunities, ensuring that your sales pipeline stays organized and up to date.
What Are Opportunities?
An opportunity is a potential deal that you’re tracking within a sales pipeline. Creating opportunities allows you to follow each deal’s progress and predict revenue. The better you manage these opportunities, the more control you have over your sales process.







Navigate to the Opportunities Section
To get started, you’ll need to access the "Opportunities" section within your dashboard. Here’s how to do that:

From the dashboard, navigate to the left-side menu and click on the "Opportunities" tab.

This will bring you to a screen displaying all current opportunities in your pipeline, categorized by stages.

Step 2: Create a New Opportunity
Once you're in the Opportunities section, follow these steps to create a new opportunity:


Click on the ‘+ New’ button in the top-right corner of the Opportunities screen.

A form will appear, prompting you to input specific details about the new opportunity.

Fill in the relevant details for the opportunity, such as the contact name / information, pipeline details and opportunity value.

Optionally, you can add other values to this opportunity or make the opportunity owner a specific user or team member responsible for managing it.

Click on "Create" and the opportunity will be created and will start showing in the Opportunities dashboard.

Adding Details and Notes

You can click on any opportunity to open its edit page.

Click on Edit "Joel Cheney"…

In the opportunity details page, you'll find fields to add additional information about the opportunity.

Include any relevant notes or details about the contact's needs, preferences, or interactions.

These notes and tasks will also start reflecting in the contact's information.
