coreSTORE - Sales: How to sell Gift Cards

Selling gift cards inside of coreSTORE is very easy, whether you're using physical cards or just creating E-Gift Cards.

# coreSTORE | Sales

# First start by navigating to the Sales screen.

Sales > New Sale

Click on the 3 dot menu
Click on Sell GiftCard
Type or scan in the ID number for this gift card

You can type in whatever unique ID you'd like into this field. If you're using physical cards that already have a barcode, you can simply scan that barcode into this field to pre-fill this with that ID number.

Type in the amount you'd like to put on this gift card
Click on Save

# Now you can just complete the sale as normal!

# Enable Consignments

Before we can begin doing consignments, we first have to enable Consignments in our coreSTORE.

Click on Company
Click on Settings
Click on Consignments
Check Consignment Items
Set Defaults

While you're here, you can choose to set your default Cost Percent or Default Fees.

The Default Cost Percent is how much the Consignor is going to keep - and you keep the rest!

Note: If you're using Default Fee, then your Default Cost Percent has to be set to 100%.

Add the consignor as a customer on the sales screen.

coreSTORE - FFL: Managing and Processing 4473s

How to understand the Manage 4473 page and process a 4473 for a firearm transfer.

Open Manage 4473

Select "Bound Book" in the left hand menu and "Manage 4473" in the expanded menu. This will open the Manage 4473 page.

1 - Search Fields

Filter: Opens a drop down that provides different filtering search options.
Search: Open text field to search, best searches are by 4473 ID, serial number and name.
Dates: Select a date range from which to search.
Hide Archived: Will hide archived 4473s from the search.
Flagged Records Only: Will only show flagged files in the search.
Only Show Previously Denied: Will show 4473s that include firearms that were on previously denied transactions.
Search: Press this button to initiate search
Extended Search: This opens a field to select additional fields and options for searches.

2 - 4473 - Each line item is a 4473 that has been created for this FFL.

Action: 3 Dot Menu that opens specific action items for the 4473 (will cover later).
ID: This is the 4473 ID.
First Name: Customers first name.
Last Name: Customers last name.
Date: The top date is when the 4473 was created. The bottom date is when the customer completed and signed Section B.

coreSTORE - Hardware: Receipt Printer Setup

Accepted Answer

The recommend receipt is the Star TSP 100 ECO using the Firefox or Chrome browsers. Other customers have had success with other printers from companies such as Epson. If you plan to purchase a different receipt printer than the recommend, try to get one that prints on paper that is 72 mm or greater.

Install Driver For Windows

Go to driver download page: https://starmicronics.com/support/receipt-printers/
Download & Install the driver software "TSP100 futurePRNT Software" from the page above. Follow the on screen setup wizard after downloading.

Chrome Setup

In Chrome click the menu button at top right of screen (three vertical dots) (as shown below) and choose Print

coreSTORE - Labels: Direct Printing Labels With a Zebra Printer

Direct printing in coreSTORE is the preferred method to print labels, because you will have complete flexibility for being able to have any format and nearly any field print on your label.

Make sure to download and install the correct printer drivers. Click here to download the correct drivers.

Default Printing to Direct Printing

In coreSTORE go to the Company Settings module and Jump To the Barcodes section. The last option is to Default to Direct Printing. Make sure to click this checkbox and Save:
