How to add product manuals to your website

Open Website > File Manager

Make sure that the dropdown list at the top says "Uploaded files wil be accessible to everyone" You may want to create a folder specifically for product manuals.

When you are ready to upload files you can simply drag and drop them onto the box with the dotted border

Click the chain link icon to get the link for the file you just uploaded. It should look like this: https://yourwebsite.com/download.php?code=FILE0000 where 0000 is the id number of the uploaded file.

Paste that link into the description of the product and remove the domain name at the beginning of the link ie: /download.php?code=FILE0000

Ensure to check the Force Download box in the Advanced tab of the Link menu when you enter your link in to the Rich Text Editor

This will trigger a download of the manual when your customer clicks the link
