# coreSTORE - Troubleshooting: Item selling price stuck at $0?

One reason that can cause an item price to show as $0 is if the field in the items screen:

- Price is % of Subtotal
- Price is % of Previous Item Price

Have a value in them of 0.

If you enter a zero in these fields, the system will treat it as a number to be multiplied with the Subtotal or Previous Item Price, resulting in a zero price. To avoid this, leave these fields blank if you want the price to be based on your selling price.
