# coreSTORE - Sales - Setting up Coupons

In this article we will show you how to setup a **Coupon** in a **Price Rule** in coreSTORE.

### Navigate to the Price Rule you wish to add a coupon
1. Click **Inventory** > **Price Rules**

2. Either click **+ Create Rule** to create a new rule or **Edit** on an existing rule to add a coupon code.

### Define The Coupon
1. Check the **Requires Coupon** checkbox

2. Enter the alpha-numeric code for your coupon

3. Use whole numbers to indicate how many days between uses must pass before a customer can use it again

4. If the **Active** check box is not checked then the **Coupon Code** and **Price Rule** will not work

5. Click Save
