# coreSTORE - Sales: Notes

coreSTORE allows the user to enter notes on the sale/order as well as individual line item notes. The steps below will demonstrate how to do both.

NOTE: You can have multiple notes on a sale/order, or single notes on each line item.


1. For a note on the entire sale/order click the note button at the top

2. Enter a brief note or subject

3. Enter the optional note details next, you can also upload optional images to the note.

4. Click on Save

5. You can click the note icon again to see the notes that were entered or enter a new note.

6. Internal Note

Notes will print on the receipt unless you mark them as internal.

7. Enter line item notes

Every line item on the sales screen has an icon for notes. If it's not a solid color it means there are no notes for this line item.

8. Enter a note title or short note

9. Click on Save

10. The note will appear directly on the screen

11. The note icon is filled in as a further indicator that this line has a note.
