# coreSTORE - Purchasing: Custom Fields

After creating a custom field for PO & Receiving, there are 2 possible places where this custom field will show.

*   On Receivings Interface Above Sub Total and Below Shipping and Handling Fees: Here is where you will input the value for this field. This is the only place where you can change the value.

*   Receipts: If you checked the Show On Receipt checkbox when creating the custom field, you will see on the receipt the value that you input into the custom field (you are not able to change the value here).
