![Screenshot 2](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/9/8/9/6989aace46840400/image_18u73ho.png)

So for example, if barcode length is 6 and the barcode scanned is 12345601050, the first 6 digits of the barcode will be the product ID and the remaining will be the price.

---

System will search for product with ID 123456, and if found add it to the basket with price $10.50.

If Scale Barcode Prefix is enabled, the system will expect the first digit to be a prefix and will be ignored.

![Screenshot 3](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/9/8/9/6989aace46840400/image_1uevqi7.png)

So for example, 012345601050. It will ignore 0, search for product with ID 123456, price $10.50.

---

If Scale Barcode Check Digit After Product ID is checked, the system will expect the digit after the product ID to be a check digit and will be ignored.

![Screenshot 4](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/9/8/9/6989aace46840400/image_172mllf.png)

So for example, 12345601050. Search for product with ID 123456, ignore the 7th digit, then the rest will be the price which is $10.50.

---

If Scale barcode check digit at end of barcode is checked, the system will treat the last digit as check digit.

![Screenshot 5](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/9/8/9/6989aace46840400/image_1bwcfw1.png)

So for example, 12345601050. Search for product with ID 123456, the rest will be the price but the last digit will be ignored, so the price will be $1.05.
