coreSTORE - Hardware: How to setup and assign coreTAGS to inventory items.

Access Points: This is how coreSTORE communicates with your coreTAGS. It has a range of about 9,000 square feet.









  1. First, go to coreTAG > Register Tags to establish the coreTAG in your coreSTORE.

  1. In here, simply scan or type in the "Label ID" on the back of the coreTAG.


Each coreTAG has a barcode on the back which relates to a unique ID number. Scan that barcode, or type in the ID number, in this field to add the coreTAG to your coreSTORE.


Note: After the tag is registered, it may take up to 24 hours for it to become fully operational.

  1. In the below image, this is where the "Label ID" should be located at.

  1. If successful, you should get a notification at the top-right letting you know that the coreTAG is registered in coreSTORE.

  1. You can also register a whole box of coreTAG's at a time by going to coreTAG > Register Box.

  1. In here, you just scan the "Box ID" to register all the coreTAG's residing inside.

  1. Next, go to coreTAG > Tag Scanner to assign a coreTAG to a specific Inventory Item.

  1. On this screen, scan your coreTAG "Label ID" again which is located on the back of the coreTAG.

  1. Then, select a "Display" for the coreTAG to download


The tile will highlight Dark Blue indicating that "Display" is selected. (STANDARD)

  1. Finally, simply scan or search for an Inventory Item to tie this coreTAG to.


Note: Once the coreTAG talks back to the "Access Point" to obtain the item to load, the coreTAG's display screen will start flashing to indicate that it is grabbing the Inventory Item information.

  1. Once linked, you should get a "Success" message letting you know that the Inventory Item is now associated with that coreTAG.


Note: Depending on how far away you are from your coreTAG's "Access Point", it may take a little bit for the coreTAG to actually populate with the information. It could be as fast as 10 seconds or as along as 10 minutes.

  1. Once the coreTAG is updated, the information should populate based on where we placed the fields for the information to feed into on the tag. Resulting in the image below.
