# coreSTORE - Getting Started: Change the starting value for ID numbers


Within coreSTORE, all new items, item kits, sales, and receivings are assigned incrementally increasing ID numbers. You can choose the starting value for these ID numbers.

Note: ID numbers can only be increased. If you have existing items, item kits, sales, or receivings, you cannot reset the ID numbers to a lower value.



1. Click on  Company

2. Click on Settings

3. Click on ID Numbers
