# coreSTORE - Fulfillment: Box Types


In this guide, we will cover how to create box types for shipping and fulfillment within coreSTORE. Setting up box types allows you to efficiently select common shipping box sizes from the fulfillment screen, eliminating the need to manually enter dimensions each time. This process streamlines your shipping operations and ensures accuracy in your packaging workflow.


1. Fulfilment > Box Types

**Accessing Box Types Management:**

To manage the different box sizes and types available for packaging in coreSTORE, follow these steps:

1.  **Locate the Fulfillment Section:** Look for the main navigation bar within coreSTORE and identify the section dedicated to fulfillment.
    
2.  **Find the Box Types Sub-menu:** Once you're in the fulfillment section, look for a sub-menu or option titled "Box Types".

2. Click on Add Box Type

**Box It Up:**

Under "Fulfillment > Box Types" section, in the right hand corner of your manage box type screen you will see the "Add Box Type" button.

3. Description

**Naming Your Box Types:** The "Description" field can function as a way to clearly identify and differentiate your box types. You could use this field to enter names that are descriptive and informative, such as "Small Flat Rate Box" or "Large Cardboard Box."

4. Length

Enter the Length of the erected box.

5. Width

Enter the width of the erected box.

6. Height

Enter the Height of the erected box.

7. Click on Save

Click on save to confirm your new box type preset. You will now see this as an option in your box type drop down in the fulfilment screen.
