# coreSTORE - FFL: Why was a 4473 invalidated

This clarifies the reason a firearm transfer could not be completed due to an invalid Form 4473.


1. Access 3 Dot Menu

From the Manage 4473 Page select the "3 Dot Menu" next to the 4473 you are researching.

2. Record Summary

In the drop down menu select "Show Record Summary"

3. Summary

An information box will automatically open. The second line will populate with the reason for the invalidation.
