# Qualifying Events for e4473

This article explains how to create qualifying events and how to apply them to an e4473.

## Create a qualifying event

1. Go to **FFL > Qualifying Events**.

2. Select **New** in the upper-right corner.

3. Enter a name and complete all relevant event details.  
   For example, you might create a gun show event at Lambeau Field.

4. Select **Save**.

## Apply a qualifying event to an e4473

When completing **Section C** of the e4473, Question 25 includes a dropdown menu that allows you to select a saved qualifying event. Selecting an event automatically populates the associated information for improved accuracy and consistency.

1. Select the **Select Saved Event (optional)** dropdown.

2. Choose the appropriate event.

3. Verify that the information populates correctly and is complete. Then continue the e4473 process.
