coreFORCE - Troubleshooting; Why did this product not dropship to the customer?

If an order that you expect to be dropshipped to a customer is shipped to your store location instead, it is because coreFORCE identified a dropshipping restriction that prevented the product from being shipped.  Check the following to identify why the product is not dropshipped:

Is the shipping method marked as "pickup"?  Look at the "pickup" checkbox in Orders > Settings > Shipping Methods.

Does the distributor support dropship at all?  See the following KB article: The current integrated distributor list is as follows:

In many cases, the distributor credentials required in coreFORCE are not the same as the login and password you use on the distributor's website.


Is the product blocked from dropshipping?  Look at the "Cannot ship to customer" checkbox on the Details tab in Products > Products.

Is the product blocked from dropshipping at the distributor?  Look at "Distributors who cannot dropship" in the Options tab in Products > Products.

Is the product category blocked from dropshipping?  Look at the "Cannot ship to custom" checkbox on the Details tab in Products > Taxonomy > Categories.

Is the manufacturer blocked from dropshipping?  Look at the checkbox "Cannot dropship anything" on the Details tab in Products > Taxonomy > Manufacturers.

Is the department blocked from dropshipping at the manufacturer level?  Look at "Cannot dropship these departments" on the Distributors tab in Products > Taxonomy > Manufacturers.
