coreFORCE - Products: Managing Product Tags


In coreFORCE, product tags are labels or keywords that can be assigned to products to categorize and organize them effectively. These tags help in managing and filtering products based on certain attributes or characteristics. Here’s how you might use product tags in coreFORCE:


  1. Organization and Categorization:

Assign Tags: You can assign multiple tags to a single product, such as “Electronics,” “New Arrival,” “Discounted,” etc.

Group Products: Group similar products together by using common tags, making it easier to manage large inventories.

  1. Filtering and Search:


Enhanced Search: Improve the search functionality on your website by allowing customers to filter products based on tags. For example, customers can filter products by tags like “Sale,” “Best Seller,” or “Organic.”


Quick Access: Quickly access a specific group of products in the admin panel by filtering products using tags.


  1. Marketing and Promotions:


Targeted Promotions: Create targeted marketing campaigns or promotions based on product tags. For instance, you can run a promotion for all products tagged as “Summer Collection.”


Email Marketing: Segment your email lists based on product tags to send personalized recommendations to customers.

Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels for specific groups of products by using tags. For example, you can keep track of all products tagged as “Low Stock.”

Creating new Tags



  1. Click on Products > Product Tags

All of our codes will need a code for coreFORCE To recognize the item

Every product tag will need a description to identify the intended use

Meta Description is where we can input our SEO Tags if applicable

  1. Click on Display Color


This display color will show on our products in the search results

  1. Click on Link Name


This link name will allow us to create a direct link to these products

  1. Click on Sort Order


Sort order will influence the results screen on our administrator backend in order from lowest to highest, lowest being first

  1. Click on Exclude from Reductive Sidebar


This toggle will hide the product tag from the search results' sidebar

Marking a product tag as cannot sell will force any item tagged to be hidden from view on the website

This toggle will automatically apply to items coming in from all currently integrated distributors

Marking a product tag inactive will remove any functionality previously established, any toggles and any display color assigned.
