Step 5 screenshot

Minimum Order Amount

Minimum Order Amount is the lowest amount for this shipping charge to be used, if there's no shipping charge covering a range lower than your minimum the cart will _NOT_ be allowed to be shipped

Step 6 screenshot

Maximum Order Amount

Maximum Order Amount is the upper limit for your shipping charge, if there's no shipping charge covering above this maximum the cart will _NOT_ be allowed to ship

Step 7 screenshot

Minimum Shipping Charge

Minimum Shipping Charge acts as a failsafe to ensure your shipping costs do not ever fall below the specified amount, a minimum charge of $10 will now allow any item to ship below $10 worth of shipping costs

Step 8 screenshot

Percentage

Percentage calculates your desired percentage of the cart total to be used as a shipping cost, this will change dynamically with a customer's cart total

Step 9 screenshot

Flat Rate

Flat Rate adds a set amount for the very first item in a cart, this will _NOT_ add more charges for any items past the first

Step 10 screenshot

Additional Item Charge

Additional Item Charges apply to any item in the cart past the first item, these will accumulate for each individual item infinitely

Step 11 screenshot

Maximum charge per item

Maximum charge per item acts as a cap for percentage fees so we can set a 10% shipping charge fee but cap it to $20 so any item $300 or higher will have a maximum of $20 shipping per item.

Step 12 screenshot

Sum of charges for each shipping location

Sum of charges for each shipping location will add up all potential shipping charges to give you one accurate rate

Step 13 screenshot

Locations

Locations will be where this shipping rate will apply, at least one must be set for the shipping charge to function. coreFORCE Includes the ability to exclude locations with a simple toggle as well

Step 14 screenshot

Product Department

coreFORCE Offers the ability to establish rate based shipping, setting a product department will limit shipping to just that one department.

Step 15 screenshot

Rates

Rate based shipping will be used to dynamically adjust shipping charges based on item data, this will only work if item data is available, typically for local items only.

Easypost is an alternative method coreFORCE offers an integration with to automatically calculate the best possible shipping cost, this is typically limited to local items only as distributor items do not feed in the necessary data.
