coreFORCE - Orders: Adding a new order status


Order Statuses can be utilized as a powerful tool in letting your customers know the whereabouts of orders they place and if there's any potential delays in delivery as well as just generally keeping information flowing!



  1. Click on Order Status

  1. Give your new status a code


This will only be seen on the admin menu

This will be what the customer sees

  1. Click on View valid placeholders


These Placeholders will work for any custom emails that were created in tandem with your custom order status

  1. Click on Valid Substitutions for Order Status emails…


Please ensure all of your placeholder values falls within one of these values

  1. Click on Resend after # days


This field will control where coreFORCE knows when to resend an email after your chosen amount of days elapses

  1. Click on Display Color


This display color will change your orders dashboard screen once a color is selected and the status is utilized

  1. Click on the gray and white square


If you do not have a precise color code this square will open an easy choice color wheel

  1. Click on the Color Wheel


You will be able to click and drag around the color wheel to get your selected hue, the side bar on the right is used to select the shade, from lighter on top to darker on the bottom

  1. Click on Mark Completed


This option will automatically mark the order completed and close the order out

  1. Click on No Api Update


No API Update will block any updates on the order to coreSTORE

  1. Click on Internal Use Only


This option will make the status only show on the Admin side and customers will not see a status update

  1. Click on Inactive


This option will make the Order Status totally disabled and it will not be able to be used on an order

  1. Click on Notifications…


This field will allow any amount of emails to be notified when an order status gets updated

Click on the plus to open a new line to add another email in

You will be able to type in any amount of emails per order status
