coreFORCE - Getting Started: Pricing Structure Management
Pricing Structures are a lucrative way to leverage your store's inventory and keep your prices cutthroat and competitive in an ever-changing landscape.
- Click on Products > Pricing Structures
- Click on ADD
- Name your Pricing Structure
- Click on the discernation that applies to your specific pricing structure.
coreFORCE Offers support for Pricing structures by Department, Category, Manufacturer and Specific Products
- Specify the option from the previous group
Departments / Categories / Manufacturers / Specific Products all have different ways to be broken down and specified further.
Note: Products affected by more than one pricing structure will follow the rules of the most specific. If a pricing structure has multiple options All will apply. Example being a structure with both Handguns as a category and Ruger as a manufacturer will affect both All Handguns and All items marked with Ruger as their Manufacturer
- Select the desired calculation type
coreFORCE Supports Markup / Discount / Marginal pricing
- Specify a percentage
This is either the % Markup, % Discount or % Margin depending on previously chosen option.
- Minimum Profit
Minimum Profit will ensure the items specified will have the specified profit over base cost. Example being a 20% Markup will not affect a $200 handgun as much as a $700 handgun. coreFORCE Allows a minimum set so both items will have at least a $100 Profit over cost.
- List Price option
Use List price if no sale price or cost is set will base calculations on the List Price if a base cost/ sale price is not present or transmitted for an item.
- Pricing Discounts
Pricing Discounts
- Designate the minimum price
- Designate the maximum price
- Designate the percentage to be applicable to this range
