coreFORCE - Getting Started: First steps to get started


Let's take a moment to explain what coreFORCE is all about. It's Coreware's E-commerce platform solution designed for selling both local inventory and distributor stock to customers nationwide.

Upon first loading into your website and heading to your getting started tab there should be a list of tasks that are essential for site functionality. We're going to start with verifying your email below!

# Verifying your Email



  1. Click on Amazon Web Services


Shortly after your website gets deployed an email from Amazon Web Services should be hitting the inbox of the email used on your Onboarding form.

Now what's the purpose of this email? Coreware leverages Amazon Web Services to send system emails from coreFORCE to customers on data such as Order Receipts and general correspondence

# Adding your Distributors

There are 3 levels of coreFORCE utilizing the Basic layout.

coreFORCE Starter - No distributors, you're safe to skip this section!

coreFORCE Basic - Up to 4 distributor connections

coreFORCE Starter - Unlimited Access to all of our current and future distributor integrations

coreFORCE Basic comes equipped with up to 4 distributors and coreFORCE Standard expands this list into all 16 of our available distributors.

We recommend contacting your representative at your chosen distributors requesting your set of FTP Credentials to access and utilize these distributor feeds

# Setting your Default Pricing Structure

Here we're going to setup our default pricing structure. We'll have options for a percentage, calculation type and even setting up our credit card handling fees for sales.

Markup - Multiplies the base cost of an item by your percentage

Discount - Divides the base cost of an item by your percentage

Margin- Marginal pricing is a strategy where you set the price of each item to cover the extra cost of making one more of that item. It focuses on how much more it costs to produce an additional unit. This helps businesses decide prices based on what it costs to make more products, aiming for efficiency and adjusting prices as costs change.

# Getting your Taxes Setup

Let's make sure our tax rates are established so our orders are collecting properly for when tax season comes around

Flat Rate refers to a flat dollar amount versus a % tax rate

coreFORCE's FFL Selection offers geolocation based on the default address of the customer's user account to ensure accurate results for your customers!

coreFORCE is able to process all credit cards from Visa, American Express, Discover, and Mastercard.

By Default Cash/Check/eCheck are admin only options and customers will NOT be able to select these options.

Once any order is placed some automatic processes do occur

An email notification gets sent to your store to inform you of an incoming order

An email receipt gets sent out to the customer's email
