Contact Categories represent a valuable tool that can effectively manage your expanding roster of new customers. Examples of such categories include "Frequent Customers" and "In-store Regulars," or any other designations you find suitable.

    Step 2 screenshot

  1. Category Code

Category Code will be strictly tied to the backend

Step 3 screenshot

  1. Click on Description

This description will be used to identify your contact category on a contact record

Step 4 screenshot

  1. Add this category to new contacts

This toggle will automatically flag any new signups after the toggle is set.

How would this be useful? A use case would be if you would like to track how effective an email campaign is and toggle the field as soon as the email goes out to see approximately how many new contacts are being added as a result of the email campaign.
